Microsoft:IE7 Homepage RunOnce remover

Microsoft has a problem with an IE 7 update. With this update the RunOnce page doesn’t work anymore.

You will get the following page:

http://www.msn.com/404.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/runonce2.aspx

Instead of:

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005

Even when you change your homepage you will alway’s get the wrong runonce page on your screen.

Microsoft have made a small fix for it:

Per user:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
“RunOnceHasShown”=dword:00000001
“RunOnceComplete”=dword:00000001

All users:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
“RunOnceHasShown”=dword:00000001
“RunOnceComplete”=dword:00000001
