After reading some log files and generated startup log with: C:\Program Files\VMware\Infrastructure\VirtualCenter Server>vpxd.exe -s >vc.log
Failed to create http proxy: Resource is already in use: 0.0.0.0:80
After checking what’s running on port 80 /tcp.. somebody has installed Microsoft IIS!
Change the port to –p 85 /tcp or something and you can start “VMware VirtualCenter Server” and “VMware VirtualCenter Management Webservices” again.
