Microsoft: The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation

Als je als Administrator iets probeert te installeren en de volgende melding verschijnt;

1. Open a CMD.EXE prompt.
2. Type msiexec /unregister and press Enter.
3. Type msiexec /regserver and press Enter.

 

Mocht bovenstaande niet werken controleer dan het volgende register:

 

1. HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Installer

2. Delete "DisableMSI" or change the value to 0.

    Searched and seached and seached on the net for this, and NO ONE’s solution worked. Pay close attention to this to resolve it….

    This is a permissions issue,

    1.Go to the root of the C drive and adjust the localhost\administrtors group permissions to full (do not propagate), make sure all folders below (except program files, and program files x86) have full access for local administrators group.

    2.All folders starting at the C (root) should have the local administrators group as the owner, except program files/program files x86 should have the trustedinstallers group as owner.

    Note: To get the trusted installers group added use: NT Service\trustedinstallers.
